Hrithik Roshan and his sister Sunaina share a special brother-sister bond and the Hindi film star says a simple smile on his sibling’s face is all he needs.
“Let me start by saying what is the best thing she does for me. Every time she smiles, it just adds that little spark I always need in my eyes,” Hrithik said in an interview.
The actor is currently busy promoting “Krrish 3″, his new superhero thriller slated for a Nov 4 release.
Sunaina enjoys the small little things that her brother does for her.
“He just keeps doing these small things everyday, which means a lot to me because small things later on become big things… it could be a hug, a smile on his face, and it could be seeing him happy,” she said.
Sunaina was diagnosed with cervical cancer almost five years back, which she fought and overcame.
Karan Malhotra has finally pulled off a dream cast for his next directorial venture ‘Shuddhi’. Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor team up again after a long hiatus
The director says a cliche it may sound, but the two will be seen in a completely new avatar in the movie.
“Yes, finally we have confirmed Kareena for the role. I feel she is a stunning looking girl and she suites the character best. I am sure she will do justice to the film,” said Malhotra.
“I am not allowed to talk much about my film, but all I can assure you is Kareena and Hrithik will be seen in a never before role in ‘Shuddhi’. I know it’s the most cliche line ever, but I can assure you on that,” added the director who made ‘Agneepath’ remake with Hrithik.
Was it a conscious effort to reunite Hrithik-Kareena on screen almost after 10 years?
“No, it was not a conscious decision, it was just a coincidence. They both look lovely together, the script demanded them and I am lucky to have them on board,” he said.
Kareena-Hrithik last outing together was 2003 release ‘Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon’. They were also seen together in ‘Mujhse Dosti Karoge!’ and ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ and ‘Yaadein’.
Talking about Kareena, Malhotra said, “Kareena is a thorough professional and she took it as any other job. I don’t think there are any differences.”
‘Shuddhi’, which will be produced by Karan Johar, will go on floors by early next year.
If you visit his Twitter homepage, you’ll notice hardly anything other than posts related to his next. There’s almost zero interaction with fans. Hrithik has never been an active tweep but then, he seems more than active in making sure his superhero film gets as much traction as possible before its release in November.
This beauty is not a chatterbox. She surfaces only when her film is about to hit the marquee. First it was Cocktail followed by Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and now, almost all her tweets are about her next co-starring Shah Rukh Khan.
His last post on the popular microblogging was on April 19. And predictably, it was about his last release Ek Thi Daayan. Interestingly, he stayed away from the digital platform and didn’t go on a rampage promoting his latest film Ghanchakkar with Vidya Balan. Has he quit for good? Our guess is as good as yours.
A look at his feed page and you’ll know that Ajay is not a Twitter-friendly guy. He seldom posts more than five tweets a month but a majority of them are about his films. His last tweet was a trailer link for his upcoming Prakash Jha film. Period.
The dhak-dhak girl, with her transition to the small screen, has taken to the social media platform, full throttle. And it’s difficult to find anything other than tweets featuring something or the other about her ongoing TV dance reality show. And predictably, zero interaction with fans.
After tasting unbelievable overnight success with her debut film, Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai with Hrithik Roshan, the petite babe Ameesha Patel has delivered only one big hit at the box office in over a decade. Sunny Deol’s much popular 2001 drama Gadar: Ek Prem Katha was the only film after KNPH that Ameesha can really be proud of. Though she was seen in an item number here or a vamp-ish performance there, never did the gal get a meaty role that made us sit up and notice of her. But now the 37-year-old actor believes that her bad phase is over. “I think as a person and as an actress everyone goes through a phase. Nothing has remained stagnant in my life. My good time is back. I am happy and excited about it. Desi Magic is a wonderful film. It showcases me in a double role for the first time. It is the most challenging role of my career till now,” said Ameesha at the promotional launch of her forthcoming venture.
She is also optimistic about the production company she’s launched with friend and business partner, Kuunal Goomer. The two are all set produce three movies soon – Sunny Deol starrer Bhaiyyaji Superhit, Neil Nitin Mukesh’s romantic thriller titled Shortcut Romeo, and Desi Magic where Ameesha plays a double role.
We think Ameesha should try for a good script instead of churning out more movies which very often than not sink at the BO without a trace. Tell us BollywoodLifers if Ameesha has it in her to keep you hooked in the days to come?
